Description
All day long the sun shines somewhere in this spacious family home with front, back and roof terrace!
Halfway through the quiet, green, dead end street you will find this spacious house with 5 (bed) rooms and front and back garden. This house was built in 1997 and has been modified since: in 2000 a rooftop unit was added and the living room was extended to the back over the entire width by two and a half metres in 2006. At the same time, the opportunity was taken to underpin the entire garden. The house is from top to toe well maintained!
Layout
Through the sunny front garden you enter the house, in a spacious hall with toilet and stairs. A panel door gives access to the kitchen. The kitchen is semi-open and has a counter length of no less than 4.5 metres with lots of storage space in extra wide drawers. The kitchen has a built-in coffee machine and clever use has been made of the space under the stairs: there is room, for example, for an extra freezer in the cupboards opposite the sink.
The kitchen is large enough for a breakfast table in the kitchen by the window at the front, but in the living room there is also more than enough room for a large dining table. Because the passage from the hallway is closed, the living room has an extra corner. There is also a built-in gas fireplace. In the extension with skylights is a large sliding door placed so you can walk on the terrace. The garden has decking and is a fine sheltered spot. There is morning and afternoon sun and the front has a roller door for extra security, screens and awnings for sun protection. In the garden is a shed with space for bicycles, chores and storage and you can back through a locked gate. All the woodwork is well varnished.
The first floor has three bedrooms. The master bedroom at the front has a built-in wardrobe, a clever feature here is the use of the empty space above the stairs. There are two bedrooms at the back, and the bathroom has been enlarged by adding a separate shower. The bath has bath heating! Centrally on the landing is the laundry room.
The ground floor and first floor have a beautiful oak parquet floor.
The top floor is a real surprise: two super light rooms through the skylights and a spacious roof terrace facing south. You can sit on this terrace until the sun goes down.
Weespersluis is still under development, but many facilities are already in full use. The Gijsbertje Louffhof is just a stone's throw away from the Weesperrijk high school and the Weespersluis sports hall, but also a 5-minute walk from the Weesp train station. So you can get to Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam Central Station and the Zuidas or to Hilversum in a jiffy. Of course you can walk to the centre of the fortified town of Weesp, because for terraces, cosy restaurants, the theatre, the town brewery and all your daily shopping (from speciality shops to fashion) you have nowhere else to go. Do you need the car? Within 5 minutes you are on one of the access roads to the A1 or A9. And for biking or walking you are right in the green heart.
