The Fort Hinderdamstraat has a very varied built-up area. Number 25 is the middle one of a small white row house, with extra space on the top floor because of the nice transverse roof it has. This house has been decorated with much attention and love; everywhere you will find surprising and beautiful classic and vintage details.
You walk to the front door through an urban front garden with a white picket fence. The ideal place for a cozy bench for a cup of coffee in the morning sun!
Upon entering you enter a spacious hallway with toilet and stairs to the second floor.
At the end of the hallway you have a view of the living room and garden through a black steel door with glass panels. The living room with open kitchen is bright and spacious due to the high ceilings, and doors to the garden.
At the front, overlooking the street, is the designer kitchen with built-in equipment from Smeg. The back wall of the kitchen is classic retro finished with green tiles.
Through the French doors you enter the garden which works as an extension of the living room. The garden is facing west (evening sun!) and has a shed with its own back. Because there are no rear neighbors you have very little privacy and you sit here very privately.
Second floor
From the landing there is access to three bedrooms and centrally located the bathroom. The bathroom is decorated with a sense of style: the antique cabinet with painted porcelain sink is very charming and attractive. Furthermore, the bathroom is fully equipped including a full bath, mirror with lighting walk-in shower and underfloor heating. At the front of the house is a spacious room which is now used as a guest / sports room, but this space is certainly suitable for a double bed. On the other side adjacent to the bathroom two more bedrooms overlooking the garden.
Second floor
Let yourself be surprised on this floor. It is an open and cleverly laid out space. The bed is centered in the room with behind the headboard a wall behind which on one side a spacious walk-in shower and on the other a toilet and sink.
The high ceilings with exposed beams are unique in an (insulated) new construction home. The long closet offers plenty of storage both in the cabinets themselves and behind them. Furthermore, there is also thought to the washer and dryer that are neatly concealed in a cupboard with again plenty of storage space.
Surroundings
Weesp is a fortified town over 900 years old, has a beautiful old center and has recently become a district of Amsterdam. The environment invites you to undertake plenty of activities. In town, with a theater, many bars and restaurants, but also sporty: Weesp is located at a crossroads of water (the Vecht) and green (nature reserve Naardermeer). There are many cycling and hiking trails and Weesp has its own golf course. The two elementary school in Weespersluis were recently opened, the new city parks (Weesperpark and Gouwpark), with two beaches, the shopping center of Weespersluis are coming soon.
