Beautiful 1930s villa, 187 m2 of living space, with three working fireplaces, a classically landscaped front garden and a lovely private backyard. Separated by a ditch, right next to the house is the start of a cycle-walk path along the Amsterdam Rijnkanaal.

The villa can easily be made suitable for double occupancy; the upper floors can be reached separately via an external staircase.

The villa was modernised about 20 years ago, with great attention to original details. The high ceilings, window frames, doors and fireplaces have been restored to their original state and have been well maintained ever since.
Upon arrival, you immediately notice the stately facade with bay window and balcony, shutters in front of the windows and matching geometric garden.

Along the house runs the driveway to the garage. The house stands on a spacious plot, there can be several cars parked on site: on the driveway, in the garage and under the carport.

The front door of the villa is on this side and gives access to a classic vestibule, where the beautiful authentic doors with stained glass are a preview of the rest of the villa. This pattern recurs frequently, in the many stained-glass windows, but also in the entrance gate to the house. After the vestibule with cloakroom, you enter the hall with granite floor and classic wall tiles, both with black piping. This hall, with beautiful wooden staircase, gives access to the living and dining room en suite, the kitchen and study.

The living and dining room en suite can be separated by the typical 1930s sliding doors, which slide away into fixed cupboards. Both rooms, and the side room, have fireplaces with the original bluestone mantelpieces, in which an insert and side convection ensure optimum use of the heat. The dining room has French doors to the garden.
The kitchen with marble floor tiles, is compact but efficiently classified. There is a fixed pantry. Through the kitchen you walk to a spacious room in front of the back door. Here you will find the toilet, the laundry room and lots of closet space, including the CV installation.

On the first floor the landing leads to four rooms. The master bedroom has fitted wardrobes, and en suite doors to the second room designed as a bathroom. This bathroom has a freestanding bath, generous tiled walk-in shower, washbasin and toilet.
