Born in The Hague, raised in England - for which he still has a preference, Rob started his real estate career by accident from his study International Law at the UvA. Coincidence, because it was not expected. He was not brought up with the profession and brokerage played in his mind at school in England or at the UvA.

Rob learned the trade at Peter Bruin Makelaardij, was co-founder of Aemestelle and is now an independent broker. Partly because of this, he is flexible, perhaps one of the most important requirements as a broker. Rob is averse to "smooth talk" and his reliability and work mentality also make clients realize that they receive a better service. His motto is therefore to have and keep satisfied clients.

It gives Rob satisfaction to see people happy with the purchase or sale of their house. Guidance in this is essential. Because every situation is different and home is the most important place in our lives. Outside of Amsterdam Rob also feels at home in the Amstelveen and Waterland region, not least because he lives there himself.

Apart from work, you can regularly see Rob on the tennis court with his family or friends, or in the Amsterdamse Bos with the dog.
